22.05.21 Jon Harison Trophy- Kingskettle United 0 - 2 Kirkcaldy YM

Into competitive action and Kettle welcomed Kirkcaldy YM to Kettle Park, both teams started well although the home side were unable to make it count in the last third.  The visitors however were able to convert the chances handed to them and took a two-goal lead into the break.

Kettle looked more solid in the second half but still failed to trouble the Kirkcaldy keeper with a half-chance from Bousie the closest the home team got to getting themselves on the scoresheet.   There were no further goals with the two first-half strikes enough to give the premier league team the victory.

19.05.21 Friendly - Auchtermuchty Belvue 3 - 2 Kingskettle United

First friendly since returning to football and Kettle got off to a good start when Gino Yunnissi scored with a shot across the goalkeeper after good play down the right-wing making it 1-0,  The home team were awarded a dubious penalty against the run of play when left-back Robbie Smith was adjudged to have taken down the forward with no touch on the ball.  The penalty was despatched neatly despite a brave effort from keeper McGuckin.

Half Time:  Auchtermuchty Belvue 1 - 1 Kingskettle United

Into the second half and Kettle regained the lead with Sharpe heading in at the back post.  It was however the premier league team who scored the next two goals, both from set-pieces to take a narrow hard-fought victory.
